Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Quality Manager to lead customer-facing quality initiatives and ensure exceptional satisfaction with our products. This role serves as the primary liaison for quality matters, championing operational excellence and aligning internal teams to meet and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have extensive semiconductor industry experience, strong technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage both strategic and tactical aspects of customer quality engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Quality Leadership
- Lead and mentor a quality engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Serve as the primary customer interface on all quality-related topics.
- Coordinate and host customer audits, ensuring full compliance with quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, test, and sales teams to meet quality objectives.
- Facilitate root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures for product issues.
- Deliver timely, comprehensive quality reports and 8D problem resolution documentation.
Quality Systems & Process Improvement
- Define and implement systemic improvements to product quality processes.
- Oversee product change notifications and ensure clear communication to customers.
- Monitor field performance metrics and drive long-term reliability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of customer quality experience in integrated circuit or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of 8D methodology and proven success in leading root cause problem solving.
- Demonstrated experience managing direct customer relationships in a quality leadership role.
- Proficiency in analyzing product and manufacturing process data to support quality improvements.
- Exceptional technical writing skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and evidence-based reporting.
- Willingness to travel internationally to meet customer needs.
Preferred:
- Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin, in addition to English.
