Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate CAD drawings reflecting current facility layouts, equipment, and utilities.
  • Plan infrastructure and utilities with compliance to safety, fire, and environmental codes.
  • Evaluate and source equipment vendors in collaboration with procurement and legal teams.
  • Design optimized production flows and layouts using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Conduct capacity planning based on production forecasts and future expansion needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to mitigate risk via PFMEA.
  • Develop utility matrices and detailed process documentation for planning reviews.
  • Lead sustainability efforts and manage BAS for energy optimization.
  • Ensure MES integration aligns with operational data capture and traceability.
  • Report planning updates and data-backed recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s or certifications like Lean Six Sigma preferred).
  • 5+ years in facility or manufacturing project planning, ideally within battery,automotive, or energy sectors.
  • Experience using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and knowledge of utilities(HVAC, compressed air, etc.).
  • Skilled in capacity modeling and Lean workflow design.
  • Familiar with APQP and PFMEA practices.
  • Knowledge of MES tools and integration.
  • Must be comfortable supporting defense-related projects.
  • Must have experience in a tech-forward company.
  • Must have an active LinkedIn profile.
