What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and grow a backend engineering team focused on system and data integrations.
  • Define strategy and guide execution across data pipelines, APIs, and extensible platform tooling.
  • Build a resilient integration layer capable of handling structured and unstructured data from APIs, file systems, and auth layers (OAuth, SAML).
  • Support external developers and partners through documentation, tooling, and architectural guidance.
  • Ensure data integrity, observability, and reliability across integration flows.
  • Collaborate with ML, Product, and Customer teams to ship high-impact, AI enhanced solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in backend leadership.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js/TypeScript, scalable API design, data ingestion, and system reliability.
  • Deep understanding of pagination, retries, rate limits, and token refresh in integration contexts.
  • Focused on quality, resilience, and execution tied to real-world impact.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or data-intensive platforms a plus.
  • Must come from a tech company.
  • Must have an active LinkedIn profile.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to document-heavy environments or workflow-driven platforms.
  • Field operations or vertical SaaS experience.
