Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and train vision algorithms for use cases such as classification, segmentation, and object detection—especially for complex technical and industrial visuals.
  • Integrate vision-based models into end-to-end production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability for enterprise use.
  • Design internal data annotation strategies and pipelines to create proprietary training datasets for model development.
  • Work with multi-format content including images, structured documents, and tables as part of intelligent automation efforts.
  • Conduct experimentation to evaluate and refine model performance with respect to speed, accuracy, and stability in real-time environments.

Your Background

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, or a related area with a focus on computer vision.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience developing and shipping computer vision models in live systems.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Proficiency in image preprocessing, visual feature analysis, and computer vision tooling (e.g., OpenCV).
  • Familiarity with transformer-based vision architectures and cutting-edge developments in the CV ecosystem.
  • Nice to Have: Background in multimodal AI systems or experience with visual data from domains like blueprints, site imagery, or other structured visuals.
  • Bonus Points: Experience working with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or large language model (LLM)-based systems in a practical setting.

What’s Offered

  • Work in a fast-moving, mission-driven team where your work makes a visible impact.
  • Competitive salary with stock/equity options.
  • Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision) with full-coverage plans available.
  • Annual allowance for learning, training, or attending conferences.
  • Remote-friendly setup with optional hybrid work in NYC or Austin.
  • Catered office lunches (in applicable locations), unlimited PTO, and regular team off-sites.
